The Trafford Hall Hotel, now under new management as of 2nd May 2006, is situated a mere mile from Manchester city centre to which Trafford Bar metrolink station (50 yards away) offers regular, speedy access in 5 minutes and 10 minutes from the MEN Arena and 5 minutes from the G-Mex Centre. Ideally located for all sporting events, local attractions include Manchester United football stadium, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Manchester International Airport, Salford Quays, The Lowry Centre and Artworks, Imperial War Museum, Daytona Go-Karting and Sale Water Park. The city centre is only 5 minutes away and has many attractions such as 1st class shops, theatres and museums in addition to being probably the foremost commercial centre in the north of England.

1-From the South
Leave the M6 at junction 19, pick up the A556 signposted to Manchester. After a few miles, at the first big roundabout, take the M56 signposted to Manchester. Go as far as the M60 (two or three miles beyond Manchester Airport Junction) and take the M60 in a clockwise direction following signs towards Liverpool. Leave M60 at Junction 7 signposted to Stretford. See 3
2- From the North
From the M6 follow the M61 towards Manchester, as far as the M60 (Manchester Ring Motorway). Take the M60 in a anti-clockwise direction following signs towards Manchester Aiport and Stockport. Continue round to Junction 7 and exit the motorway here (signposted to Stretford). See 3
3- From Junction 7 to the hotel on leaving Junction 7 follow the A56 signposted to Manchester. After approx 1.5 miles look out for signs to Old Trafford Cricket Ground and bear right at these traffic lights. This is Talbot Road. After 0.5 miles or so Old Trafford Cricket Ground (Lancashire C.C.C) is to be seen on the right hand side. Less than 0.5 miles further on, on the same side of the road, stands the hotel as Talbot road strats to bend to the right.

"All we wanted was a room for the night, which is what we got. Basic room, needs a bit of a re-do for modernisation. Breakfast was poor, very poor. Service and standard of food was bad. If you want a cheap night to rest your head, for a night out in manchester then this is the place. If you are wanting an average to good standard of hotel for a nice night out, this is not the place. Good place for a group of lads on the booze and that is all."
