Manchester Cathedral
Cathedrals are places of vigorous life, ministering to several different constituencies, and Manchester Cathedral is no exception, set in the midst of a great conurbation it is the venue for many services for the whole community including all kinds of organisations who come to offer their work to God and seek his blessing.

As the mother church of the Diocese, it is the place where new ministries begin and great gatherings are held. It plays host to thousands of visitors each year, and also to those who regularly worship here, for whom it is their parish church.
With its recently acquired Bishop Wickham Library and regular lectures and discussion groups, it is an educational resource; and with its Booth Centre for homeless people it ministers to those in greatest need.
